Cristal Hibbard is a licensed Colorado Professional Engineer and holds both a BS and MS in Environmental Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. With over 10 years of experience in Environmental Services, Cristal brings to the GovCon team expertise that ranges from year-round, hands-on field work to project management and oversight. Her background also includes permitting, reporting, and compliance with state and federal requirements, Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, quality assurance plan development and implementation, environmental sampling, data collection/verification, and database management.
Cristal is passionate about putting safety first on all projects, especially those located in hazardous, austere, and/or confined space environments. She has worked within rigorous Health & Safety programs while planning and performing projects on hazardous and remote sites. She has extensive knowledge of and experience working with soil, water and air monitoring as well as remediation project management and compliance.
Cristal is responsible for oversight and management of all field projects, lending her detailed focused mind and technical expertise to various personnel posted at sites or working remotely on project strategy development, environmental sampling, data analysis, and deliverable reports. While Cristal is based out of our corporate office in Washington, DC, she and her husband live on the Western Slope of Colorado.
